Auditing and Assurance
What Are Auditing and Assurance Services?
Auditing involves an independent examination of your financial records to ensure they are accurate and comply with regulatory standards. Assurance services go beyond auditing, offering expert evaluations of processes, systems, or reports to enhance trust and reliability.
Common Challenges Businesses Face
- Inaccurate Financial Records: Errors or discrepancies in financial data can lead to compliance issues or reputational risks.
- Stakeholder Mistrust: Investors, lenders, and other stakeholders demand confidence in financial and operational reporting.
- Regulatory Pressure: Staying compliant with changing standards can overwhelm even the most organized businesses.
How we help clients
The personal involvement of partners in all audit engagements is a feature of HLB RL Lesotho service. Our partners are supported by qualified staff members, who have an established reputation for integrity, professional competence and due care and, who work as a team to complete assignments in a timely, coordinated and cost-effective manner.
We will do this by understanding your business and its challenges. This helps us to be able to assess the risks associated with your control environment and information systems. We can then identify areas where you are most susceptible and develop a focused audit plan to prevent unnecessary time and effort being spent on immaterial items.
Audit integrity
We operate under the Ethics and Quality Control Policies of IESBA and HLB International. These are specified in a formal manual and integrated into the audit methodology used by HLB member firms throughout the world. They include planning, risk assessment, system documentation and reviews, testing and verification procedures.
